It's Official!

Yes! It's True! She is a official driver! She passed her driving exam! Yippy! Pros-
1. She is no longer waiting for me to pick her up from activities.
2. I can send her to pick up things from the store for me.
3. She can drive herself to seminary early in the mornings!
4. She can plan her activities around her time frame and not her mothers.

Cons-
1. I no longer get to hear all about her day as soon as she pops into the truck after school.
2. I no longer get to listen to all the kids talking as I drive them to all the activities.
3. Gas and insurance for another vehicle.
4. I will not be as involved with all her activities and get to hear all the inside stuff...

This is a happy/sad day.

Mormon Prom

Last month, just 3 days before Mormon Prom, Klaira got a phone call asking her to go. Oh the squeals! She was so excited! Several stakes in the area get together once a year a put on a "Prom" that they know the kids will be able to go to and have a prom experience without all the gunk that seems to go on at the high schools now days. Everyone is dressed modestly, the music is appropriate and the kids are there to have a fun time... Of course they went as a group and it was a really fun group of kids!

The Girls!

The Guys!

She is so beautiful! What a fun night for her! (Growing up way to fast!)

Hello Dolly!

This last month Klaira was able to perform in her high school performance of "Hello Dolly". (Disclaimer...I don't have photo shop on my computer and I don't know how to get rid of all the red eyes..thus it looks like most of the kids are evil...but they really are sweet!!!)
This was Klaira's favorite of her outfits for the show. She had to make 3 costume changes during the night. Don't she look sweet?!

This kid is a CRACK UP! He is in 7th grade. I was able to give kids rides to the theater where they were performing, for their practices and this sweet boy climbed in the first day. I had "Wicked" playing and he knew every song. He sang loud and proud. The next day I had "Phantom of the Oprah" playing..yep, he knew those songs too!

This is a group of wonderfully, talented young adults. I was very impressed! They did a GREAT JOB!
What great memories these kids are making!
